MezzeSoul pomegranate table sauces

The MezzeSoul range of pomegranate-based sauces brings a fresh taste of Lebanese cooking to British households. BuzzedUp was tasked with maximising MezzeSoul’s online presence.

Challenge

Healthy Recipes Ltd had developed MezzeSoul — a wonderful range of pomegranate-based sauces — to give UK consumers a taste of Lebanese cuisine. The brand owners wanted to raise the quality of its online presence to more accurately reflect the ambitions for the brand.  The brand was rapidly expanding a retail network while exploring options with the big grocery chains.

Solution

All product and recipe copy was reviewed and rewritten after extensive discussion with the brand owners. We incorporated focus group research into the design process to deliver an attractive site that did justice to the brand’s aspirations. The results is a responsive website, chock full of key messages and beautiful images, that is driving interest and sales of the fledgling brand. The site is packed with imagery from a food/brand photo shoot we organised, regular short blog posts, simple recipe ideas plus background on the key ingredient, pomegranate.

    Outcomes

    The new fresh, clean, responsive website achieved the owners' objectives; a strong online presence that they are proud of. 

    BuzzedUp also supported MezzeSoul's launch in social media with a burst of activity to establish a foothold the key platforms: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. We grew Facebook Likes from a few hundred largely irrelevant, overseas fans to over 2,000 UK food consumers in the target market. The masses of original, highly visual content we produced was re-purposed/re-sized for each of the three platforms chosen.
